K-pop group BTS has just set a new milestone. Their album "ARIRANG" has held the top spot on the Billboard 200 for 9 consecutive weeks.

According to Billboard, BTS's album 5 is currently ranked 10th. This is a drop of two positions compared to last week. The Billboard 200 is the most popular album chart in the US.

Previously, "ARIRANG" made K-pop history. The album impressively held the number one position for three weeks after its release. The album consists of 14 tracks, led by the title track "Swim." This was the group's comeback album after a four-year hiatus, which was due to members fulfilling their military service.

Currently, the song "Swim" is also ranked 55th on the Hot 100, the main song chart in the United States.

This week's chart also features several other Asian representatives. The boy band &TEAM made their first appearance on the Billboard 200, ranking at number 52 with their album "We On Fire". &TEAM is a Japanese-based group under the HYBE label.

On the Hot 100 chart, Jennie (BLACKPINK) also attracted attention. She contributed vocals to Tame Impala's song "Dracula" and impressively reached the 25th position.

The success of BTS and other artists affirms K-pop's global standing. International audiences are increasingly appreciating Asian music .
