The exterior of the tower is paved with characteristic red bricks and granite. The tower itself is decorated with detailed carvings such as lotus and chrysanthemum flowers. Around the base of the tower are sacred Buddhist shrines. Before reaching the base, visitors often offer incense to the deities in the various temples and admire the exquisite beauty of the Ly Dynasty architecture.
Visitors can visit Tuong Long Tower at any time of year. Especially in early spring, the tower is adorned with the vibrant colors of spring, and lively spring festivals are held to pray for good fortune in the new year.
Besides the Tuong Long Tower, the Ba De Temple (located in Ngoc Hai Ward, Do Son District) is one of the most famous and sacred temples in Hai Phong . It boasts not only picturesque scenery but also tells the tragic story of a beautiful woman with an unfortunate fate, whose image is enshrined here.

Ba De Temple is a famous and sacred temple, built at the foot of Doc Mountain. Its structure is simple yet elegant and graceful, and its view of the sea creates a unique natural wonder.

The temple is separated from the sea by a system of solid and sturdy stone walls. Every year, during the festival, tourists flock here to admire the beautiful scenery and sincerely pray for wealth and good fortune. Especially on the 26th of January, which is the day of the spring opening and offering of rice, and on the 24th, 25th, and 26th of February, which is the day of thanksgiving to the Goddess, visitors can explore and admire the unique architecture of the temple and discover the beauty of the local culture and traditions. Every evening, after the sun has set behind the Doc mountain range, visitors stand under the temple's bell tower to watch the sunset.
Hang Pagoda is also a magnificent masterpiece that tourists must visit during their trip to Hai Phong. Hang Pagoda, also known as Coc Tu, was formerly located in Van Tac, Do Son commune, Nghi Duong district, Kinh Mon prefecture, Hai Duong province; now it is in Van Son ward, Do Son district. This pagoda was the first place where Buddhism was introduced to Vietnam, opening up a religious foundation that flourished for centuries.

The pagoda is nestled deep within the mountains, facing the Do Son sea. Visiting Hang Pagoda, tourists will have the opportunity to admire the stunning mountain scenery and appreciate the beauty of this centuries-old spiritual structure.
When visiting Do Son, tourists cannot miss Hon Dau Island, located in Van Huong Ward, Do Son District. The island is about 1km from the mainland and covers an area of 13.79 hectares. On Hon Dau Island is the temple of Nam Hai Than Vuong (the God of the Southern Sea). This temple is dedicated to a general of the Tran Dynasty who died in a naval battle against the Mongol army on the Bach Dang River and drifted ashore on this island. The people of Do Son District erected a temple to worship him in 1288.

Hon Dau Island also boasts a primeval forest with diverse and abundant vegetation. Particularly noteworthy is the thousand-year-old natural rock formation surrounding the island amidst the clouds, mountains, and water, along with the Ban Rock Reef, which is a popular check-in spot attracting tourists to experience and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of nature.

Located on the highest point of the main island is the Hon Dau Lighthouse – the "Pearl Eye" of the Fatherland. This structure was designed and built by a French architect in 1892 to guide ships entering and leaving Hai Phong port.

With its natural, historical, and cultural features, Hon Dau Island has been recognized as a National Scenic Spot by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The People's Committee of Do Son District will soon be organizing the Hon Dau Island Festival from the 1st to the 10th of February (lunar calendar).
