To attract customers during the 2025 Lunar New Year, some gardeners in Hung Yen have meticulously shaped old pomelo trees, pressed auspicious characters onto the fruit, and especially molded pots resembling gold ingots. These products are being offered for sale at prices ranging from 160 to 200 million VND.
At this time, in the orchards of Lien Nghia commune (Van Giang district, Hung Yen province), hundreds of giant pomelo trees with unique shapes are being prepared for the Lunar New Year market.
