Hue folk songs by the Saigon River

Hue folk songs by the Saigon River is the theme of an event in the Art Bus series organized by the Saturday Coffee Culture Salon and Saturday Coffee Youth since 2024.

The program takes place regularly at cultural venues and art spaces, with the participation of experts, helping participants enhance their understanding through opportunities to directly interact with artworks, converse, and exchange ideas with artists.

Hue folk songs by the Saigon River aim to explore the unique characteristics of Hue folk songs, a national cultural heritage.

The program will take place at 8:00 AM on July 27th, starting from the Saturday Coffee Culture Salon (79A Phan Ke Binh Street, Tan Dinh Ward) to the Traditional and Contemporary Hue Space by the Saigon River (51B Tu Xuong Street, Xuan Hoa Ward).

The program was artistically overseen by musician Duong Thu, along with two speakers: artist Dang Ninh and Meritorious Artist Van Khanh.

In addition, the program also featured performances by artists such as Dang Ninh (two-stringed fiddle), Meritorious Artist Hai Phuong (zither), Manh Hung (drums), Minh Tien (bau stringed instrument), Minh Ngoc (moon lute)...
