On May 2nd, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province announced that, in keeping with the festive atmosphere of the holiday, tourist destinations throughout the province have become vibrant and bustling with a large number of visitors, contributing to a cheerful and flourishing tourism landscape.

Accordingly, on May 1st alone, tourist areas, historical sites, and entertainment venues throughout the province welcomed a total of 106,367 visitors, an increase of 12.2% compared to the same period in 2025 (94,800 visitors). Some areas and attractions received a particularly high number of visitors, such as: Ca Mau Cape Tourist Area with 4,673 visitors; Quan Am Buddhist Temple with approximately 7,000 visitors; Hung Vuong Square with approximately 7,000 visitors; and Tac Say Church with 6,000 visitors, etc.
Cumulatively, during the two-day holiday period, the province welcomed 195,367 visitors (an increase of 15.2% compared to the same period in 2015).

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province assessed that, in order to attract tourists, in the days before and during the holiday, cultural, artistic, sports and entertainment activities were organized widely from the provincial level to the grassroots, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere among the people during the holiday.
"The number of tourists has increased sharply compared to the same period last year, especially concentrated at event venues, key tourist areas, and community tourism destinations; demonstrating the positive effectiveness of event organization, promotion, and tourism stimulus efforts," a representative from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province informed.

According to this unit, in recent days, state management has been strengthened; security, order, environmental hygiene, and food safety at tourist areas and destinations have been ensured; and no complex incidents have been recorded.
Cultural, sports, and tourism service establishments must ensure quality service for visitors; display prices and sell at the listed prices; and offer diverse products and services to meet the sightseeing and experiential needs of tourists.
At tourist attractions and sites, the public posting of prices, price stabilization, food safety and hygiene, and security and order are well implemented; no negative feedback has been received through hotlines or other information channels.
Inspection and supervision of cultural and tourism service businesses have been strengthened; inspections have shown that establishments are generally complying with regulations, and no violations have been detected.
