According to the announcement, a series of events with the theme "Ca Mau - the southernmost point of the country, where nature and peace converge", will take place at many locations in Ca Mau province, from September 26-30.
This event has close coordination between the People's Committee of Ca Mau province with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Tourism Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association.

The series of events "Ca Mau - the southernmost point of the country, where nature and peace converge" includes 5 main groups of activities, carefully invested in content and scale, including: Famtrip delegation surveying Ca Mau destination, to introduce unique tourism products, create opportunities to connect and expand the market; forest planting ceremony at Ca Mau Cape National Park, with the meaning of spreading the message of protecting forest resources and biodiversity, affirming Ca Mau's commitment to developing green tourism associated with nature conservation.

Next is the "Quintessence of Ca Mau Culinary Culture" Festival, also the highlight of the series of events, opening at 7:00 p.m. on September 27, at Hung Vuong Square.
With a scale of about 100 food and OCOP product booths..., the festival will be a space to promote typical delicious dishes of Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City, combining demonstrations of processing and international culinary experiences.

The fourth activity is the Talented Chef Competition (September 28), an opportunity to honor local culinary artists and encourage creativity in preparing dishes from Ca Mau's typical products.
Finally, the scientific workshop (September 28) with the theme "Positioning Ca Mau tourism brand in the overall development of national tourism", is a forum for experts, managers and businesses to discuss and give strategic directions for Ca Mau tourism.

Through the series of events, Ca Mau hopes to create a strong push, not only attracting tourists but also expanding the consumption market for specialty products, OCOP, contributing to making tourism a spearhead economic sector, worthy of being a meeting place for domestic and international friends.

Chairing and speaking at the press conference, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province Ngo Vu Thang said that tourism is one of the four strengths that Ca Mau has identified and included in the draft documents of the Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

“The series of events held in Ca Mau this time is not simply an activity to celebrate World Tourism Day, but also a strategic step of Ca Mau province to reposition the local tourism brand associated with the potential and inherent advantages after the province's merger, aiming at the rapid and sustainable development of the smokeless industry”, Mr. Ngo Vu Thang shared.
At the press conference, representatives of the functional sectors of Ca Mau province answered the press about many issues related to the series of events, especially: positioning the Ca Mau tourism brand and the new brand image that the province is aiming for after the event; orientation to promote award-winning dishes to promote Ca Mau specialties in the future; related policies to encourage local tourism businesses to practice responsible tourism and sustainable development...
