Expanding his work beyond the arts, Ngoc Son received congratulations from many close colleagues.
Ngoc Son He recently established a new company in Ba Ria - Vung Tau. The event was attended by singers Thanh Thao, Hoang Chau, Luong Gia Huy, Quach Tuan Du... and many of his young students.
Venturing into a new field, he wanted to challenge himself, explore new knowledge, and serve the community in various ways.
The company's name is a combination of the names of Pham Ngoc Phuc and Pham Ngoc Khanh Linh - the two children of former singer Ngoc Hai, who were adopted by Ngoc Son from birth.
He shared: "When the two babies were born, I was always the first one to hold them. Since they learned to speak, Ngoc Phuc refused to call me 'Uncle Ba' and always called me 'Dad' with great affection, which touched me deeply. I consider them my own children, and I always love them and am proud of them."
Speaking to reporters, Ngoc Son is most proud of his health at nearly 60 years old. He usually wakes up around 5-6 am and does 100-200 push-ups to start the day. In the afternoon, he goes to the gym, does push-ups, practices martial arts, and plays table tennis until he's completely exhausted.
Besides his lifestyle and exercise regimen, Ngoc Son believes that his current physical condition is thanks to his mother's care. During her lifetime, she maintained the habit of cooking bird's nest with cordyceps to nourish her son whenever he returned from performances.
Ngoc Son previously established two separate companies in Phan Thiet ( Binh Thuan province ) and Ho Chi Minh City. When asked, "With the opening of a third company in a completely different field from before, how ambitious are you in business?", he replied, "No matter how many companies I chair or how much money I earn, I will donate it all to charity. I no longer aspire to enrich myself; I only hope to have a little profit from business to help others and contribute to society."
On the occasion of assuming the chairmanship, Ngoc Son donated 100 million VND to the Social Welfare Fund of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
