At noon on June 26, talking to Thanh Nien reporter , Mr. Dang Van Hai (32 years old, in Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh - the person who filmed the clip of whales hunting in Quy Nhon sea) said that at around 4:00 p.m. on June 25, while taking pictures of seaweed in Nhon Hai commune (Quy Nhon city), he accidentally encountered a whale over 10 meters long, surfacing to the surface to hunt.

According to Mr. Hai, at the time he discovered the whale, some people who were with him also witnessed the incident. Afterwards, these people used a canoe to go out to sea to film the moment the whale hunted.

“The sight of a whale hunting near the shore was very impressive, with a flock of seagulls flying around above its head. After I posted the clip and images on Facebook, many people were interested and interested,” Hai shared.

An expert from the Center for Biodiversity and Endangered Species Conservation (CBES) said that during this season, Binh Dinh's sea has abundant food sources, less exploitation of aquatic products, and clearer and cleaner water than many other places, so whales often come here to hunt.
