In 2 days 4 and 5 June, the delegation of the Central Propaganda Department led by Mr. Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Committee visited and worked in An Giang province. Previously, the delegation visited the Oc Eo cultural relic site in Thoai Son district.

Comrade Le Van Nung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Council, said that in the past time, the Standing Board of An Giang Provincial Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political departments and organizations, thoroughly grasping, seriously implementing the resolutions, directives, conclusions and documents of the Party in the socio-economic development, contributing to the socio-economic development in the province.
All classes of people in An Giang province have always actively responded and participated in the implementation of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" in association with building new rural areas and civilized cities; solidarity, mutual affection in the community…
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Tran Thanh Lam suggested that the Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front and mass organizations at all levels of An Giang province need to continue to closely follow the Party's resolutions and directives and deliver the conclusion of the Party and State leaders on culture, literature and art, in order to concretize them into programs and tasks close to the province's conditions. At the same time, continue to pay attention to and do well in building a healthy cultural environment, building Vietnamese people to develop comprehensively; arouse pride, love and sense of responsibility for the homeland among the people.
In particular, it is necessary to further strengthen the construction of grassroots cultural life, promote the building of family culture, corporate culture, office culture... in association with promoting the movement "All people unite to build cultural life"; improve the operational efficiency of cultural works in serving and meeting the people's creative needs and cultural enjoyment.
Party committees and authorities from the province to the grassroots, especially in border areas, pay close attention to the leadership, direction and orientation of building and developing culture, literature and art. At the same time, continuing to focus on planning, training and fostering a contingent of artists, cultural workers, and cultural managers; creating favorable conditions for literary and artistic associations and artists to operate…
