Leaders of Lien Chieu ward visited, presented flowers and gifts to 8 centenarians (each gift included 1 million VND and other presents), demonstrating the care and concern of the local Party committee and government for the older generation.
Reportedly, during the 2025 Vietnam Elderly Action Month, Lien Chieu ward visited and presented gifts to 677 elderly people, with a total cost of approximately 200 million VND.
*In Ngu Hanh Son ward , representatives from the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward visited and presented gifts to 6 elderly people from poor and near-poor households according to the city's standards, with each gift worth 2 million VND.
This activity is part of the "Month of Action for Vietnamese Elderly People" plan for 2025, demonstrating the concern and encouragement of local authorities for vulnerable groups in society, especially the elderly.

* On the morning of October 1st, the leaders of Tien Phuoc commune visited 11 centenarians in the commune.
During their visits to the families, local leaders inquired about the health and well-being of the elderly; they wished them continued happiness and good health, hoping they would continue to be a source of spiritual support for their descendants and set a good example for the younger generation to follow; and they personally presented the elderly with heartfelt gifts to celebrate their longevity.
