BHG - Implementing the plan to deploy foreign affairs activities in Ha Giang province in 2025, the Cooperation Program between the People's Committee of Ha Giang province and the People's Government of Van Son district, Yunnan province (China) for the period 2021 - 2025, on January 13, a working delegation of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province (Vietnam) led by Comrade Hoang Gia Long, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the talks and the Launching Ceremony of the series of activities "Vietnam - China Humanitarian Exchange Year and Vietnam - China Border People's Festival 2025" in Malypho district, Van Son district (China). Accompanying the delegation were leaders of a number of departments, branches, sectors, and border districts in the province.

On the same day, the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department led by Comrade Nguyen Khanh Lam, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, visited, held talks and exchanged experiences in Van Son district, Yunnan province (China). Also accompanying the delegation were leaders of Ha Giang Newspaper and the provincial Radio and Television Station.
The youth delegation of Ha Giang province, led by comrade Hoang The Hanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, also visited and held talks in Van Son district, Yunnan province (China).

Within the framework of this visit, the delegation of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province will hold a cooperation meeting between the delegation of the government of Ha Giang province, Vietnam and the delegation of the people's government of Van Son district; attend the welcome party and the launching ceremony of the series of activities "Vietnam - China Humanitarian Exchange Year; Vietnam - China Border People's Festival 2025". Witness the signing of a number of cooperation documents by relevant agencies, units and localities of the two sides such as: Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ha Giang province and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Van Son district, period 2025 - 2030. Agreement on establishing a working mechanism to notify the situation of river/stream flows across the border between Ha Giang province and Van Son district; agreement to establish a bilateral border inspection mechanism between the Ha Giang Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs and the Van Son District Foreign Affairs Office... This visit is the opening visit for direct delegation exchanges between the leaders of Ha Giang and Yunnan provinces in 2025, continuing to promote exchanges and substantive cooperation, bringing the friendly cooperative relationship between Ha Giang and Yunnan provinces to a new level.

The delegation of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department will hold a cooperation meeting with the Van Son District Party Committee's Propaganda Department. Participate in the Vietnam - China media exchange activities and the Vietnam - China Border People's Festival Kick-off Ceremony; survey and grasp the development situation of the Van Son District Media Center and some locations in Van Son District. During this visit, the two sides will exchange information and experience in Party propaganda and science and education work and through mass media such as newspapers, radio and television stations... to continuously, quickly and widely disseminate information to promote friendly cooperation between the two sides; strengthen border management coordination; jointly promote comprehensive cooperation in all fields between Ha Giang and Chau Van Son.
2025 is the "Year of Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange", which also marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations. The Ha Giang Provincial Youth Delegation and the Van Son Chau Youth Union will hold a dialogue and exchange with the theme "Drinking from the same river, youth towards the future". Thereby, the two sides will continue to share information and further strengthen cooperation in youth work, border youth exchanges, experience sharing in business activities, production, youth start-up programs, cross-border e-commerce, protection of minors, legal education for youth, volunteer service...; promote cultural exchange and knowledge sharing between youth of the two countries. Build solidarity, friendship, stability, peace, cooperation and mutual development between Vietnamese and Chinese youth in general and for the common development of the Ha Giang - Van Son Youth Union in particular.
