According to the provincial Tax Department, in the first 6 months of the year, central and local state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in the province paid 325.5 billion VND to the budget.
Phu Tho Petroleum Company paid 24 billion VND in taxes in the first 6 months of the year
Of which, Central State-owned Enterprises paid 288 billion VND, equal to 60.4% of the annual estimate, up 7% over the same period. Revenue from this sector achieved positive results, mainly coming from the relatively stable production and business situation of Central State-owned Enterprises and increasing over the same period, such as Lam Thao Super Phosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company estimated at 40 billion VND, up 29 billion VND over the same period; Phu Tho Petroleum Company estimated at 24 billion VND, up 4 billion VND over the same period; Phu Tho Electricity Company estimated at 11 billion VND, up 10 billion VND over the same period.
In addition, there was an increase of VND 18 billion from tax collection according to the conclusion of the Deputy Prime Minister on VAT collection for credit collection activities.
The remaining revenue from local SOEs is 37.5 billion VND, reaching 61.6% of the annual estimate, up 25% over the same period. Currently, the revenue from the local SOE sector is mostly from administrative units such as schools, hospitals, etc.
The revenue results in the first 6 months of the year mainly focused on a number of enterprises and organizations with effective production and business activities and growth such as: Saigon - Dong Xuan Beer and Alcohol Joint Stock Company is estimated to pay 9 billion VND, an increase of 5 billion VND over the same period in 2023; Phu Tho Waste Treatment Joint Stock Company is estimated to pay 2.5 billion VND, an increase of 1.2 billion VND over the same period; Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital is estimated to pay 1.9 billion VND, an increase of 1.5 billion over the same period; Viet Tri Urban Environment and Services Joint Stock Company is estimated to pay 2.6 billion VND, an increase of 1.6 billion VND over the same period.
