To achieve that result, it was necessary to exchange for the blood of previous generations of fathers and brothers, who bravely sacrificed for the aspiration of freedom and unification of the nation, including the excellent children of Bac Ninh city. 50 years have passed, but the feelings and gratitude for the heroic martyrs, the previous generations of fathers and brothers who bravely fought, sacrificed, leaving a part of their bodies on the battlefield for our country to have the foundation as it is today will never fade. Through the resistance wars to protect the Fatherland, along with generations of young people across the country, Ho ward also had thousands of children volunteering to join the army to kill the enemy. Many of them never returned. After those wars to protect the country, Ho ward had 7 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, 01 People's Armed Forces Hero, hundreds of wounded and sick soldiers, and combatants infected with Agent Orange. In recent years, the movement of the whole people to care for wounded soldiers, families of martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the area continued to be socialized, demonstrating the deep affection and responsibility of all people towards policy families.

On this occasion, the Party Committee, government and people of Tien Du organized many practical activities to commemorate and express gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of heroes, martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and families with meritorious services to the cause of revolutionary struggle and homeland protection. Having gone through the nation's long wars; Lim town alone currently has 229 families with meritorious services; including 152 martyrs, 77 wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and families with meritorious services to the revolution. During the heroic resistance war against the US, together with the army and people in the province, thousands of Tu Son natives enthusiastically volunteered to go to the front to defend the Fatherland, among them, many soldiers heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people. At the Dinh Bang Ward Martyrs Cemetery, there are currently 253 martyrs resting in peace.
Imbued with the moral of “When drinking water, remember its source”, over the years, the Party Committee, government and people of Tu Son city and Dinh Bang ward have always cared for families with meritorious services, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded and sick soldiers, and families of martyrs with affection and responsibility. Up to now, 100% of families with meritorious services in the city have an average or higher standard of living.
On this occasion, Tu Son city presented 20 gifts to relatives of martyrs, wounded soldiers, victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, and soldiers who directly participated in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign in Dinh Bang ward.
* At Phu Lang Martyrs Cemetery, Que Vo Town, Colonel Bui Duy Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department attended the candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs. Also attending were representatives of the provincial Military Command, Que Vo Town, Phu Lang Commune, and many relatives of policy beneficiaries, wounded soldiers and people from all walks of life.

Phu Lang Commune Martyrs' Cemetery currently has 162 martyrs; the whole commune has 238 policy beneficiaries and relatives of martyrs' families. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, in recent days, the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, and mass organizations of Phu Lang Commune have organized many practical and meaningful activities to commemorate and express gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs to the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland.
On this occasion, the leaders presented 20 gifts to 20 policy families in the locality.
