Creating social consensus

One of the outstanding results of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the province is that they have done a good job of propaganda and mobilization, organizing many practical activities to contribute to bringing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress into life. During the 2020 - 2025 term, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations organized nearly 17,500 conferences and thematic activities; besides, they actively worked closely with the grassroots with the motto "going to every alley, knocking on every door"; applying social networking sites such as Zalo, Facebook... to exchange information, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people, especially religious dignitaries, ethnic minorities..., promoting the role of a bridge between the Party, the government and the people, creating social consensus. The whole province has more than 2,500 "Smart Mass Mobilization" models built in many fields such as: Environmental protection, security and order, helping each other develop production, supporting livelihoods, agricultural product chains... arousing the spirit of emulation and solidarity in the community. Typical models such as: "Self-managed veteran road", "National flag route"... operate effectively, not only contributing to the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas but also being a place for many members to live, becoming a valuable information channel, contributing to ensuring security and national defense at the grassroots level. Ms. Le Minh Tuan - Nam Nha Trang ward shared: "Since implementing the self-managed model "Flower and National flag route", people in the residential group have become much more united. Every weekend, people clean up the roads together; repair degraded roads, without relying on the State. Thanks to that, the roads in residential areas are clean and safe, people are very excited".

The Fatherland Front at all levels has also effectively mobilized social resources to care for the poor and vulnerable. From the "For the Poor" Fund, over the past 5 years, the Fatherland Front at all levels has supported the construction and repair of more than 4,000 Great Solidarity houses; given more than 390,000 Tet gifts; supported medical examination and treatment; awarded scholarships, livelihoods and built hundreds of civil works... with a total cost of more than 160 billion VND. In particular, implementing the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", in the period of 2024 - 2025, the Provincial Fatherland Front has allocated the "For the Poor" Fund, along with the provincial budget, to build and repair 2,971 houses for poor, near-poor households and those in especially difficult circumstances, completing 6 months ahead of the schedule set by the Central Government. This result contributes to creating a foundation for Khanh Hoa to continue effectively implementing social security programs, aiming at the goal of "leaving no one behind".

Promoting the role in participating in Party and government building

In addition, the Front and socio-political organizations have actively participated in building a clean and strong Party and government; strengthened social supervision and criticism, especially participating in building and giving opinions on the development of Party policies and guidelines, State policies and laws. Over the past 5 years, the Front at all levels has organized 25 conferences to collect public opinions on 5 major projects; 510 policy criticisms and 1,500 supervisions in various fields; advising and coordinating the organization of more than 2,100 direct dialogues between the government and the people to focus on resolving difficulties in compensation, resettlement support, land donation for road construction, environmental sanitation... With practical actions, not only promoting democracy at the grassroots level but also making an important contribution to helping Party committees and authorities at all levels identify shortcomings and limitations, thereby proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of leadership, direction, management, operation, and building a clean and strong Party and government.

According to comrade Tran Thu Mai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the 2025 - 2030 term is an important transition period when Khanh Hoa expands its development space, connecting two lands rich in revolutionary traditions, similar cultures and dynamic people. In order to perform well its roles and tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the province's development goals, the Front and socio-political organizations continue to innovate methods, improve the quality of activities in the direction of ensuring 6 clear "clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear results - ensuring substance and effectiveness"; strengthen supervision and social criticism; promote the role of gathering, mobilizing, consolidating the great national unity bloc, enhancing social consensus, building people's trust in the Party and the State.

In the coming time, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee will focus on implementing breakthrough tasks to contribute to concretizing the Party's thematic resolutions, bringing the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress into life through the development of projects, including: Improving the quality of cadres working for the Front from the province to the commune; comprehensive digital transformation in the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front system in the province; strengthening the consensus of the people in implementing key national and provincial projects; innovating to improve the quality and effectiveness of monitoring and criticism activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the provincial and commune levels; promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, mobilizing resources to effectively implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in the province by 2030.
