* Comrade Bui Hoang Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to the elderly at the Ninh Binh Mental Rehabilitation Center and Dong Thai commune. Also present were leaders of the Provincial People's Council Office, the Department of Health , the Provincial Association of the Elderly and Dong Thai commune.
Ninh Binh Mental Rehabilitation Center is currently managing, caring for, nurturing and treating 280 subjects, including 79 elderly people. Overcoming difficulties, last year, the Center performed well the function of managing, caring for and nurturing patients; especially implementing well the policy for the elderly, contributing to improving mental and physical health, ensuring comprehensive care.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Hoang Ha presented gifts to the elderly at the Center; at the same time, he acknowledged and commended the efforts of the leadership, officers and employees of the Center in performing the task of caring for policy beneficiaries in general and the elderly in particular. He hoped that in the coming time, the Center would strengthen coordination with all levels and sectors to effectively implement the State's policies and regimes, successfully complete its goals and tasks, and build the Center to become more civilized and modern.
Next, in Dong Thai commune, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Vu Van Tieu, 101 years old, Kenh village and Ms. Ta Thi Yen, 101 years old, Dau hamlet. Both of them are currently receiving social policy benefits.
At the places he visited, he sent his regards to the health and life of the elderly and wished them a happy and long life, to be a spiritual support for their children and grandchildren to study hard, participate effectively in emulation movements, and build the homeland to be more and more prosperous. He also requested local Party committees and authorities to continue to care for both the material and spiritual needs of the elderly in the area.
* Comrade Nguyen Hoang Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to the elderly at the Ha Nam Social Protection Center (facility 3), Nguyen Uy Ward and some typical elderly people in the area. Accompanying were leaders of the Department of Health; leaders of the Provincial Association of the Elderly.
Ha Nam Social Protection Center (facility 3) is currently caring for and raising 23 elderly people with leprosy. Visiting and presenting gifts here, comrade Nguyen Hoang Ha acknowledged and praised the dedication and efforts of the Center's staff in caring for and raising the elderly. He hoped that the staff would continue to promote their sense of responsibility, overcome difficulties in facilities and human resources, maintain 100% of leprosy patients with comprehensive medical care, regular health check-ups, daily medication and ensure appropriate nutrition, helping the elderly stabilize their health, live happily and healthily.
Next, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee visited and presented gifts to Mr. Do Van Nhan, born in 1920, Dong Tan residential group; Ms. Tran Thi Hoan, born in 1922, wife of martyr Kieu Xuan Tuoc, Luu Phuc My residential group, both in Nguyen Uy ward.
At the families, Comrade Nguyen Hoang Ha kindly inquired about the health and living conditions of the elderly, wished them longevity, continued to be their spiritual support, encouraged their children and grandchildren to promote traditions, build cultural families, and contribute to the development of their homeland. He requested local Party committees and authorities to pay more practical attention and at the same time mobilize the community's cooperation to improve their material and spiritual lives, helping the elderly "live happily, live healthily, and live usefully".
*The working delegation led by Comrade Ha Lan Anh, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to the elderly being cared for at the Nam Dinh Social Protection Center and outstanding elderly people in Nam Dinh ward. Also attending the working delegation were representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Provincial Association of the Elderly, the Department of Health, and the Nam Dinh Ward People's Committee.
Nam Dinh Social Protection Center is currently managing, nurturing, and treating and rehabilitating over 276 subjects including the elderly, children, disabled children, mentally ill people... with no place to rely on; Of these, 44 are elderly people, all of whom have special circumstances, are old, have chronic diseases, and have no family or relatives and always need the help and care of staff.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and commended the efforts of the Center's staff in performing the task of caring for sponsored subjects in general and the elderly in particular. He hoped that in the coming time, the Center's staff would continue to overcome difficulties in facilities and human resources, always uphold the spirit of responsibility, wholeheartedly serve and care for the elderly; maintain 100% of the elderly with comprehensive medical care, health check-ups and treatment, daily medication distribution; care work, nutrition regime appropriate to the physical condition and illness of each group of subjects.
The delegation also visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Bui Thi Ly, born in 1923, at 46/204 Hung Vuong Street and Mrs. Doan Thi Thuy, born in 1924, at 6 An Phong Lane, Quang Trung Street, Nam Dinh Ward. They all live with their children and grandchildren, and they and their families have complied well with the Party's policies and the State's laws.
At the families he visited, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee kindly asked about the health and life of the elderly, wishing them good health and longevity, and being a spiritual support for their children and grandchildren.
