The night market, approximately 465 meters long, is a prominent section of Xuan Thuy street, featuring numerous shops and restaurants offering a diverse range of food options, from street food to upscale restaurants and cafes.

On the evening of January 19th, Thu Duc City launched a pilot project for Thao Dien night street, operating from 7 PM to 2 AM the following morning on Friday and Saturday nights every week along a section of Xuan Thuy street.

On its opening night, the night street was packed with people visiting and experiencing it. Ms. Ha Dao (a resident of Thu Duc City) said that she learned about the opening of the night street in Thao Dien Ward through social media and was curious to visit with her friends. "I didn't think so many people would come. I was most impressed by the lively atmosphere at night and the diverse food on this street; there are many dishes I love," she commented.

Located in an area with a large expatriate community, Thao Dien night market offers a diverse range of food and drinks from Asian to European cuisine, featuring specialties from many countries such as Korea and Japan. In addition, there are also many familiar and characteristic Vietnamese dishes.

Thao Dien night street stands out with its distinctive street food. "Every stall I passed smelled delicious aromas, and I wanted to stop and try the food. There were so many choices. When I first arrived, I invited my friend to buy ice cream, then we tried some grilled dishes, and we planned to sit down at a drinks stall to rest for a while before continuing our experience," said Thanh Dung (25 years old, residing in Thao Duc City), excitedly sharing her experience of street food at the night street.

Ms. Ý Lan, the owner of a dessert shop in the Thảo Điền night market, said she was extremely happy and excited about the launch of the night market, which will help her business thrive. Selling desserts only in the evenings, she said she already has a stable base of regular customers. The shop affirmed that prices will not increase at the moment, offering nearly 20 different desserts at affordable prices starting from just 7,000 VND.
