On the evening of January 19, Thu Duc City piloted the opening of Thao Dien night street, operating from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. the following morning every Friday and Saturday evening on a section of Xuan Thuy Street.

On the first night of its opening, the night street was packed with people coming to visit and experience. Ms. Ha Dao (living in Thu Duc City) said that through social networks, she learned that Thao Dien Ward had opened a night street, so she was curious to visit with her friends. "I didn't think there would be so many people coming. What impressed me most was the bustling atmosphere at night and the diverse cuisine on this street, there are many dishes that I love," she commented.

Located in an area where many foreigners live and work, Thao Dien night street sells a variety of food and drinks from Asia to Europe, typical of many countries such as Korea, Japan... Besides, there is also indispensable typical and familiar Vietnamese dishes.

Thao Dien night street stands out with its unique street food. "Every time I pass by a shop, I smell the aroma and want to stop and try it. There are many choices for me. When I first arrived, I invited my friend to buy ice cream, then eat grilled dishes, planning to stop at a cafe to rest for a bit and then continue the experience", Ms. Thanh Dung (25 years old, living in Thao Duc City) excitedly experienced street food on the night street.

Ms. Y Lan, the owner of a chè shop in Thao Dien night street, said she was extremely happy and excited when the night street opened, which will help her business run more smoothly. Selling chè only in the evening, she said she already has a stable number of regular customers. The shop confirmed that it will not increase prices at the moment, with nearly 20 different chè dishes at affordable prices starting at only 7,000 VND.
