Candidates and parents can check the 2025 university admission scores for all schools here.
Admissions experts note that the cut-off scores between schools are not equivalent. The reason is that, according to regulations from the Ministry of Education and Training , the cut-off scores for all admission methods are converted to a common scale (primarily a 30-point scale). Each school, however, uses a different conversion formula.
For example, the admission score for Logistics at school A is 27 and at school B is 28. This doesn't necessarily mean that the original score of a candidate applying to school B is higher than that of school A. It could be due to a difference in the conversion factors used by the two schools.
Successful candidates must confirm their enrollment on the Ministry's system before 5 PM on August 30th. Failure to do so without a valid reason will result in the cancellation of the candidate's results.
In addition, universities often have admission plans with different requirements, which are posted on their official websites and fan pages, or sent to candidates via email, phone number, notification letter, etc. Candidates need to pay attention to complete all procedures.
From September 1st to December 2025, schools that have not yet met their enrollment quotas may conduct supplementary admissions. Candidates who are not admitted to any school or who do not confirm their enrollment at any school will be considered for supplementary admission.
This year, out of 1.16 million high school graduation exam candidates, nearly 850,000 registered for university admissions, with a total of approximately 7.6 million applications. On average, each student submitted nearly 9 applications, a significant increase compared to previous years.
