How to find booths and directions at the National Achievements Exhibition

The exhibition "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness Journey" is taking place at the National Exhibition and Fair Center. This is the largest exhibition ever in Vietnam. With a scale of up to 260,000 m2, visitors may have difficulty if they want to go through the entire exhibition and see all the products and services on display.

For easier searching and navigation, users can scan QR codes at various locations in the exhibition with their phones, then access the 3D digital map system.

After scanning the QR code, users are directed to a website with a map of the entire exhibition center. When location access is allowed, the system will display the user's current location, helping users locate the desired destination and get directions right on the map.

The map has 2 options: 2D or 3D display. The exhibition areas are divided by color, with introductory information and real images of each booth. In addition to the exhibition units, other support locations such as elevators, cafes, medical stations, and restrooms are also displayed.

"We want to bring visitors a truly different experience: easy to find information, clear orientation, and inspired by advanced technology and endless creativity," said Mr. Tran Minh Long, Director of Digitran Company, the developer of Digimap.

Mr. Long said that the project of mapping the country's achievements was completed in just 1 month, much shorter than the 5-6 months for a normal project. Therefore, despite having experience working on projects for the Japanese market, the company's staff still had to work in parallel to ensure timely completion.

"The biggest difficulty is the time to ensure progress with the exhibition organizers. We have to work 'rolling', digitizing the map and updating information of the booths," Mr. Long shared with Tri Thuc - Znews .

The company representative also revealed that the system is deployed on the Amazon AWS cloud service to ensure stability when there is a large amount of traffic from visitors. This will be an important factor, because on the first day of opening, a large number of visitors flocked to the exhibition, especially at the booths for experiencing flying planes, talking to robots, and virtual reality.

Digitran also hopes to expand the application of 3D digital maps to many public spaces such as shopping malls, buildings, hospitals, airports, supporting traditional signage. The company currently has a scale of 40 engineers, all of whom are Vietnamese.

The exhibition of national achievements with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" takes place from August 28 to September 5.
