Da Nang welcomes more than 760 flights during the holiday September 2, 2025

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City said that on the occasion of the September 2nd holiday this year, people will have 4 days off (from August 30 to September 2, 2025). It is expected that the total number of tourists to Da Nang City will grow quite well, higher than in 2024.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, from August 29 to September 2, 2025, Da Nang airport will receive 730 flights, an average frequency of 146 flights/day (an increase of 25.9% over the same period in 2024). Of which, there are 436 domestic flights, 294 international flights, an average international frequency of 59 flights/day. The total number of flights to Chu Lai airport is 34 domestic flights, equivalent to the same period in 2024.

During this holiday, some tourist attractions are expected to welcome a large number of visitors such as Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area, Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, Mikazuki, 365 VinWonders Nam Hoi An Water Park, Hoi An Ancient Town, etc. The average room occupancy rate during the 4-day holiday is estimated at 55-60%, of which 4-5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments are estimated at 60-70%.

Tourists come to Da Nang city.

This occasion is associated with the celebration of the 23rd Congress of the City Party Committee, term 2025-2030. In order to serve the people and tourists, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City coordinates with units and localities to review, synthesize and propose cultural, artistic and sports programs with 50 activities. Some outstanding new and attractive activities include: "Da Nang Concerts" art program at the front of Da Nang Museum on September 2, 2025; Cultural activities - festivals on both banks of the Han River; Traditional Boat Racing Tournament of Da Nang City for VTV8 Cup, 2025 and performance of water sports activities on August 31, 2025 on the Han River. The city exempts entrance fees to Ngu Hanh Son Scenic Spot and cultural works and museums in the area on September 2, 2025.

Also on this occasion, the Fine Arts Museum organizes an art exhibition with the theme "Young Fine Arts - Da Nang 2025" from August 26 to September 25, 2025; the "Creative Summer" experience program in 2025 at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum on August 26, 2025. The Da Nang Museum coordinates with the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam to organize a thematic exhibition "Special National Monument of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam" from August 28 to September 24, 2025.

In addition, the Theaters, the Cultural - Cinema Center of Da Nang City, and the Opera Troupe coordinate with communes and wards to organize many cultural and artistic activities, mobile film screenings at the grassroots level.
