How to remove automatic shortcuts on Facebook
Facebook offers users an automatic shortcut feature that allows them to quickly access chats/groups they frequently interact with. However, in some cases, this feature can be annoying.
Step 1: Access the Facebook app > Tap the menu with the avatar icon in the bottom right corner. The suggested shortcuts will then appear in your Shortcuts section.
Step 2: Next, press and hold the account/group you want to remove the shortcut to > Tap Remove Shortcut.
How to delete automatic shortcuts on your computer
Step 1: Open Facebook on your computer > On the main screen, in the bottom left corner you will see "Your Shortcuts," click Edit next to it.
Step 2: Next, click the dropdown arrow in the corresponding chat/group you want to delete > Select Hide > Finally, click the Save button.
