Mr. Duong Xuan Thanh shared: “ Every time the trade union and youth union of Tuyen Quang Power Company launch a humanitarian blood donation movement, I enthusiastically participate. This is the 14th time I have participated in voluntary blood donation. I am very happy and proud to contribute my small part to save people and I will continue to participate in the voluntary blood donation program with my colleagues in the following years .”
In recognition of this noble-hearted electrician, Mr. Duong Xuan Thanh was awarded certificates of merit for his voluntary blood donation work by local authorities as well as the electricity industry. He is also a typical example of blood donation activities to save lives of Tuyen Quang Electricity Company.
Similarly, although he is new to the electricity industry, Mr. Ngo Hai Dang - Secretary of the Chiem Hoa Electricity Youth Union has volunteered to donate his blood 6 times with the desire to share difficulties and help the unfortunate who need blood transfusions to sustain life.

In addition to his work as an engineer in the Technical Planning Department, he is also the Secretary of the Chiem Hoa Electricity Youth Union.
Mr. Ngo Hai Dang is always exemplary, enthusiastic and eager in the activities and movements of the Youth Union, together with the Standing Committee of the District Youth Union, advising on organizing many youth-themed activities in the locality, creating a strong impression of the green volunteer shirt, including voluntary blood donation activities.
In 2022, Mr. Ngo Hai Dang was classified as an "Advanced Worker" by Tuyen Quang Electricity Company. Notably, at the award ceremony of the 2022 "Ideas and initiatives for safe, economical and effective use of electricity among youth" contest jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) on March 2, 2024, Mr. Ngo Hai Dang's video "Do you know where electricity comes from" won the Encouragement Prize and the most favorite work of the contest with 156,800 votes.
Mr. Ngo Hai Dang shared: Every day, every hour, in his own homeland, there are thousands of unfortunate people who need blood transfusions to sustain their lives. As a person in the electricity industry, I feel that I have a responsibility to do useful things, contributing to spreading the 5 core values of EVN's cultural beauty: "Trust, Quality, Pioneer, Creativity and Responsibility".
Examples like Mr. Thanh and Mr. Dang have "inspired" many workers in the electricity industry, thereby mobilizing hundreds of employees and union members to participate in the humanitarian blood donation program of Tuyen Quang Electricity Company in particular and the electricity industry in general.
The exemplary actions of Mr. Thanh and Mr. Dang demonstrate the spirit of volunteerism and initiative of the youth, with profound humanitarian significance, contributing to the propaganda andeducation of the young generation's sense of responsibility towards the community.
The image of "orange shirts" donating blood has become a cultural feature of social activities of officers and employees of Tuyen Quang Power Company in particular, and the electricity industry in general, promoting the role of workers in building corporate culture, responsibility for the community, contributing to the cause of caring for and protecting people's health.
