Nha Trang College of Tourism: Rewarding outstanding individuals and groups

On the afternoon of June 23, Nha Trang College of Tourism successfully organized the Advanced Model Conference for the period 2020-2025, summarizing 5 years of emulation movements and commendation work, towards the 4th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector.

Reward 6 excellent groups.

Reporting the results at the Conference, Dr. Nguyen Doan Thanh, Principal of Nha Trang College of Tourism, said: In the period of 2020-2025, the School has achieved many outstanding achievements, training thousands of high-quality tourism workers for the locality, region and the whole country.

The school has been awarded the Second Class Labor Medalby the President , many collectives and individuals have received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, the title of Excellent Teacher, the Emulation Flag at the Ministry level, and the title of Emulation Fighter at all levels. That is the continuous effort and endeavor of the collective and individuals of teachers and students of Nha Trang College of Tourism in the past 5 years.

However, in the coming period, the School will have to face many challenges on the transformation path, especially with the goal of becoming a comprehensively autonomous unit. This development model requires a close connection between training quality, accountability and innovation in governance.

“With the strategic orientation of being a high-quality vocationaltraining institution for Tourism, the School will have to constantly strive to overcome current limitations, fully exploit potential and create breakthroughs in training as well as scientific research,” Mr. Nguyen Doan Thanh affirmed.

Rewarding 15 outstanding individuals.

To achieve this ambitious goal, the University will continue to perfect its institutional framework, take full advantage of digital tools, promote autonomy, and work together with the solidarity and unity of all staff, lecturers, employees, and students. In particular, student management and training of the new generation will be given top priority, to ensure balanced development between scale and quality.

Mr. Nguyen Doan Thanh called on all officials, lecturers, workers and students to unite to overcome challenges and improve the quality of training and scientific research.

The conference also set out the direction of emulation work for the 2025-2030 period, focusing on thoroughly grasping the Party and State's policies, linking emulation with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example, innovating content, form and applying information technology in commendation work.

On this occasion, the Principal of Nha Trang College of Tourism awarded 6 outstanding groups and 15 individuals who have made great contributions to the development of the School and the Tourism industry locally and regionally.
