TPO - The project to build the 3.5 beltway from Thang Long Avenue to National Highway 32, worth more than 1,000 billion VND, is an important traffic infrastructure project of the capital, expected to be put into use at the end of 2021. However, after 7 years of construction, the items are still in disarray due to problems in excavating and relocating the Vuon Chuoi Relic Site.

The investment project to build Ring Road 3.5 (section from Thang Long Avenue to National Highway 32) has a total investment of more than 1,000 billion VND, invested by the Hoai Duc District Construction Investment Project Management Board ( Hanoi ). The project started in 2017 and was expected to be completed after one year, but has not yet been completed. |
One of the reasons for the slow progress of the route is the land acquisition problem. Within the scope of the Ring Road 3.5 project (from Thang Long Avenue to National Highway 32), there is about 6,000 m2 of the Vuon Chuoi site (Kim Chung commune, Hoai Duc district). In order to complete the Ring Road 3.5 project, it is necessary to excavate and relocate this site. |
Hoai Duc District People's Committee said that it is expected that by the first quarter of 2025, the excavation and relocation of the Vuon Chuoi Relic Site will be completed, and the construction project of Ring Road 3.5 will resume. |
Currently, workers are moving the graves to another location to make room for the project. |
The locations in phase 1 of the project (from Thang Long Avenue to Hau Ai Bridge) have basically taken shape, the roads have electric lights, the road surface has been paved with asphalt.... |
The section from Provincial Road 422b to National Highway 32 is under construction, road surface and sidewalk items are being re-constructed. |
This is a special urban axis, connecting the western suburban districts of Hanoi capital such as: Phuc Tho, Dan Phuong, Ha Dong, Thanh Tri with 6 motor vehicle lanes and 2 mixed lanes. |
Although the project is not completed, many urban areas and high-rise buildings have sprung up around it... |
When completed, Ring Road 3.5 will help connect new urban areas in the area, complete the infrastructure framework and also be an important route for urban development east of Ring Road 4. |
