Previously, on September 9, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province also issued a document conveying the direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the inspection and handling of the case of occupying state-managed land and illegally constructing works in the Hoang Hon slope area.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province requested the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Thiet city to urgently organize inspections and strictly handle the situation of occupying unused land managed by the State and illegal construction in accordance with the law; strictly handle the responsibilities of the Chairman of the People's Committee of the ward and related individuals and organizations of Phu Hai ward.
