The headquarters of the port authority, customs, immigration, police... at Long Thanh airport are being accelerated to be put into operation in 2026.

Long Thanh International Airport Phase 1 project is divided into 4 component projects: Component project 1 - construction of headquarters of state management agencies; Component project 2 - works serving flight management; Component project 3 - essential works of the airport and Component project 4 - other works.

According to VTC News, a series of headquarters buildings of state management agencies such as airports, customs, immigration management, local police... are gradually taking shape, ready for operation from 2026.

The headquarters have basically completed the rough construction and are in the finishing stages.

As for the Southern Airport Authority representative office building, the construction unit has basically completed the rough construction and is entering the stage of completing interior items, technical infrastructure and surrounding landscape to meet the handover schedule by the end of 2025.

The immigration management headquarters and local police headquarters are also in the final stages of completion.

The Customs headquarters is gradually being completed.

As for the two animal quarantine and plant quarantine headquarters projects, due to starting later, the investor was required to focus construction resources and strictly control the progress to ensure completion according to plan.

Meanwhile, Component 2 Project, including facilities serving flight management such as primary and secondary radar stations, radio transmission and reception stations, ADS-B dependent monitoring stations, meteorological radars, navigation stations, etc., has basically completed the construction part. Items such as radar towers and antenna towers have also completed the steel structure part, and are expected to be completed in 2025.

Component project 3, invested by Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), includes: passenger terminal, aircraft parking lot, runway, parking lot, etc., which is currently the main construction item, with resources focused to ensure progress.

Component project 4 includes service facilities such as offices, hotels, shopping centers, etc., which will be implemented in the form of calling for socialized investment.
