Previously, a delegation from the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province came to offer incense and express gratitude to General Vo Nguyen Giap at Vung Chua - Yen Island.
Laying wreaths and offering incense at the Memorial of the Special National Monument of Quang Tri Citadel, comrade Ho Duc Thanh - Chairman of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An Province and members of the delegation expressed their infinite gratitude to the heroic martyrs who fought bravely and sacrificed their lives in the 81-day and night campaign to protect Quang Tri town and Quang Tri Citadel.
On the same day, the delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Road 9 Martyrs Cemetery and the Truong Son Martyrs Cemetery.
In the sacred atmosphere, the delegation respectfully expressed their remembrance, deep gratitude, and appreciation for the martyrs who heroically sacrificed their blood and bones for the cause of national liberation.
In front of the heroic martyrs, comrade Ho Duc Thanh and the members of the delegation pledged to promote the heroic and loyal tradition of previous generations, unite and strive to build an increasingly strong association; Connect and call for resources to support the construction of gratitude houses for families of martyrs, support martyrs' families to access the regimes and policies of the Party and Government ; help martyrs' families collect information to search for the remains of martyrs who are still lost or have not been identified.
