Nghe An continues to spread the movement "All people build a culture of safe traffic"

On the morning of November 10, at Vinh Loc ward (Nghe An province), the Traffic Safety Committee of Nghe An province coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to organize propaganda for the whole people to build traffic culture and launch a self-management model to ensure traffic order and safety.

Implementing the Traffic Safety Year 2025 with the theme "Safe journey, creating the future" and the movement "All people build traffic culture", the program aims to raise awareness, form self-awareness and civilized behavior in traffic participation of each citizen.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province calls on all walks of life, from officials, party members to students and workers, to join hands in contributing to building a safe, civilized and disciplined traffic environment.

Each organization, agency, unit, residential area and individual is encouraged to set an example in obeying the law, not violating alcohol concentration, not speeding, wearing standard helmets, and stopping and parking properly.

Along with that, people are encouraged to voluntarily dismantle constructions that violate traffic corridors, not encroach on roadsides and sidewalks for business purposes, maintain environmental sanitation, protect traffic works, and contribute to building an orderly and civilized urban lifestyle.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have included traffic safety criteria in the annual emulation content, and at the same time expanded self-management models, mobilizing the strength of the entire population in ensuring traffic order and safety. With the spirit of solidarity and high determination, the movement "All people build a culture of safe traffic" in Nghe An is gradually spreading widely, becoming a practical action for the peace and happiness of each family.

Speaking at the program, comrade Phan Huy Chuong - Deputy Head of the Traffic Safety Committee of Nghe An province emphasized: "In recent times, with the direction of the Central and the province, along with the synchronous participation of sectors and levels and the active response of the people, the work of ensuring traffic order and safety in the area has achieved many positive results. Traffic accidents have been controlled and reduced for many consecutive years in all 3 criteria. However, the situation still has the potential for complicated developments, requiring more cooperation and efforts from the whole society. The Provincial Traffic Safety Committee always identifies propaganda as a sustainable solution, aiming to create long-term changes in people's awareness and actions".

At the program, delegates and people were informed of the regulations of the Road Traffic Law, identified common violations, and practiced safe driving skills through vivid visual models, helping traffic participants gain more knowledge and practical experience.

The program contributes to spreading the humane message: "For the health and lives of traffic participants - each citizen should be an active propagandist".

Along with propaganda, the program launched the Self-management Model to ensure traffic order and safety in residential areas with key activities: complying with the law, building traffic culture; mobilizing people to comply with regulations on alcohol concentration, speed, wearing helmets; maintaining hygiene, not encroaching on roads and sidewalks; distributing leaflets and booklets "Traffic safety handbook" to each member.

With specific and practical activities, the self-management model and propaganda program have created a strong influence, contributing to improving traffic culture, building Nghe An into a typical province in ensuring traffic order and safety, towards a civilized, orderly and safe traffic environment for everyone.
