Dien Ban Dong Ward mobilized more than 620 million VND to support people in the northern flood-hit areas.

DNO - Responding to the appeal letter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city, from October 12 to 31, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Ban Dong ward coordinated and mobilized more than 620 million VND to support people in the northern provinces affected by storms and floods.

Specifically, on the evening of October 12, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Ban Dong Ward organized the music program "One Heart", calling for donations to support people in the northern provinces affected by the recent storms and floods.

As a result, agencies, units and people donated more than 55 million VND, including more than 42 million VND in cash and more than 13 million VND transferred to the Relief Committee account of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward.

Besides, the Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations of the ward launched a campaign to mobilize support among union members, cadres and people.

As of October 31, the total fundraising budget reached over 620 million VND. On November 7, the Dien Ban Dong Ward Front handed over the donation to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city to send to the people of the northern provinces.
