Temasport newspaper commented: “Slavia Sofia has decided to sell Chung Nguyen Do. The midfielder born in 2005 will continue his career in his second homeland, Vietnam. This midfielder has signed a contract with Ninh Binh Club.

Chung Nguyen Do’s father is Vietnamese. That greatly influenced the midfielder’s decision. Ninh Binh FC has just won promotion to V-League and is currently led by Spanish coach Gerard Albadalejo.

Slavia FC President Ventseslav Stefanov said: “Yes. The deal is done. We decided to sell him. I will tell you something very interesting that I have never seen in my nearly 30 years in football. According to Transfermarkt, Chung Nguyen Do is valued at 400,000 euros (12.2 billion VND). It is unclear how much money Ninh Binh Club spent to recruit this player from Slavia Sofia.
