One of the commune's most notable features is its possession of a large portion of the Dau Tieng Lake. The lake has a catchment area of over 270 km2 and a capacity of 1.58 billion m3, providing water for domestic use, production, flood control, and salinity intrusion prevention for the downstream areas of the Saigon and Vam Co Dong rivers. |

The lake not only provides water for irrigation and daily life, but the area around it also has many gently sloping lands, forests, and beautiful viewpoints, suitable for developing ecotourism, camping, nature experiences, outdoor sports , and weekend getaways for tourists from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces. |

In fact, the locality is also exploiting this advantage, but has not yet created a breakthrough tourism product. |

Surrounding Dau Tieng Lake is the Cau Mountain range, covering approximately 1,600 hectares, which was recognized as a provincial-level historical and scenic site in 2007. It is famous for Thai Son Pagoda, Truc Stream (which retains its pristine beauty), and hiking trails through the forest. The area is considered to have significant potential for developing attractive tourism products to attract both domestic and international visitors. |

Furthermore, Dau Tieng commune is also notable for its vast rubber plantations. Running through these rubber forests is Provincial Road 744, which was also the main transportation artery of the former Dau Tieng district. Besides creating a smooth traffic flow, Provincial Road 744 also connects many key industrial zones of the former Binh Duong province such as VSIP 2, Song Than 3, My Phuoc 1-2-3... |

This road was expanded by the former Binh Duong province starting in 2010 with hundreds of billions of VND to serve the transportation needs of the people. By 2016, Provincial Road 744 was expanded to 4 lanes with an investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND. In 2022, the road was further upgraded and expanded to its current 6 lanes, contributing to increased trade with Tay Ninh province. |

National Highway 744 also directly connects to the 72 km long Ho Chi Minh Highway section between Chơn Thành and Đức Hòa, allowing Dầu Tiếng commune to benefit from the inter-regional transportation network. From here, residents and tourists can easily travel from Ho Chi Minh City, Tây Ninh, and surrounding areas to visit the locality. The road currently has 4 lanes, including 2 lanes for cars and 2 lanes for motorbikes. |

The Ho Chi Minh Highway not only strengthens connections between industrial zones and expands urban space, but also creates momentum for attracting investment and comprehensively improving transportation infrastructure. Formed through the merger of the former Dau Tieng town and meeting the prescribed criteria, Dau Tieng commune is considered to have many advantages in the process of being upgraded to a ward. The upgrade will create favorable conditions for the locality to develop its existing tourism advantages, attract investment in transportation infrastructure, and improve the quality of life for its residents. |
