At the Pac Bo National Special Relic Site, due to heavy rains, the rising and rapid flow of Lenin Stream has caused the signboard "LENIN STREAM" to peel off and break; the road to the upstream area is being greatly affected by the amount of mud and the effects of environmental pollution on the relic site.
The Tran Hung Dao Forest National Special Relic Site was also severely affected: The road to the 34 Soldiers' Stele House, the road to the SlamCao peak relic and the road from the exhibition house to the central courtyard of the relic had many trees broken. Since the night of October 15, landslides have appeared behind the relief, the way to the SlamCao peak and behind the General Vo Nguyen Giap temple with an estimated volume of about 1,000m³.
The central courtyard of the relic has collapsed, sunk along the old crack about 60cm deep, the crack mouth is from 30cm - 40cm wide; the embankment outside the central courtyard has collapsed about 15m and continues to be at risk of total landslide, potentially causing a safety risk. At the foot of the mountain, there is a stream of flowing water that has appeared many landslides, the landslide location is about 100m from the bottom up from the reception house in the central courtyard. The embankment next to the central courtyard, the embankment behind the exhibition house has collapsed, there is a risk of continuing to collapse if the amount of rain does not decrease, affecting the courtyard and the exhibition house at the relic.
Faced with that situation, the Provincial Management Board of Special National Relic Sites invited a consulting and design unit to replace the words "LENIN STREAM" at Pac Bo Special National Relic Site.
For the Tran Hung Dao Forest National Special Relic Site, the Management Board has proactively instructed all officials and workers to raise their vigilance, prepare response plans, and prevent damage to people and property; organize forces on-site to clean up fallen trees, clean the environment, ensure landscape and safe passage for visitors; carry out temporary measures, such as: clearing the flow at the entrance to the stele house relic; building a water barrier to minimize the impact on the central courtyard area that is experiencing subsidence and landslides; temporarily install corrugated iron and steel barriers and add steel mesh fences to ensure safety for visitors and residents. Continue to direct monitoring of the central courtyard area and place danger signs and signs prohibiting visitors and residents from entering subsidence and landslide areas.
Director of the Provincial Special National Monuments Management Board Dao Van Mui said: Immediately after the flood, the Management Board conducted surveys and inspections to temporarily repair the affected structures. In the immediate future, the unit will use regular funds to carry out temporary cover and reinforcement measures to limit the spread of landslides. In the long term, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is requested to consider and continue to report to the Provincial People's Committee to invite consulting units and geological experts to conduct surveys and comprehensively assess the damage to provide funds for thorough treatment, ensuring timely repair of damage caused by floods to serve the work of preserving and promoting the value of the relic.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, implementing Official Dispatch No. 3190/UBND-KT dated October 10, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on Overcoming the consequences of storm Yagi in 2024 at the Tran Hung Dao Forest National Special Relic Site (phase 2), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism consulted on a plan for geological survey to overcome the consequences of storm Yagi in 2024 at the Relic Site. Accordingly, the Department presided over and coordinated with relevant agencies, units and localities to research, review and select survey units, construction consultants with sufficient capacity and experience and experts from the Institute of Geological Sciences and Mineral Resources ( Ministry of Agriculture and Environment ) and leading experts in geology to organize a comprehensive survey to analyze and accurately assess the causes of subsidence and landslides, propose synchronous and effective remedial solutions, ensuring safety and long-term stability for the entire Relic Site.
