Lam Giang develops eco-tourism model

With the advantage of having provincial historical relics in the area, Lam Giang commune welcomes on average more than 1,600 tourists each month, mainly visitors to attend the Phuc Linh temple festival and visit and worship here. This is the premise for the locality to develop eco-tourism associated with spiritual tourism.

The launch of the community - ecological - spiritual tourism model of Lam Giang commune, with the specific model of Quy Phuc Linh Tourism Cooperative in Phuc Linh village in May 2025 is an important milestone to help Lam Giang commune gradually prepare for the development of an eco-tourism model.

Quy Phuc Linh Cooperative consists of 5 member models, providing accommodation, culinary and nature experiences, and community activities for tourists. The target audience is tourists who come to visit and worship at Phuc Linh Temple in the area.

Sharing about the model development plan, Ms. Le Thi Quy - Head of Quy Phuc Linh Tourism Cooperative said: We have visited and learned from some places and are actively preparing facilities to have the best conditions to welcome guests, such as: renovating stilt houses, planting flowers and ornamental plants to create landscapes, and making check-in points for tourists.

Mr. Doan Manh Hung - Head of Phuc Linh village expressed his strong support: The locality strongly supports the establishment of the cooperative and is also actively promoting to replicate the model to attract tourists, create more jobs for local workers, contribute to increasing income for people and developing the homeland.

Although there are still many difficulties due to inconvenient traffic and being affected by floods and landslides, the commune is very interested in supporting the model, regularly assigning staff to discuss, guide and remove difficulties.

With the cooperation of the government and people, the eco-tourism model in Lam Giang promises to attract tourists to the locality to visit and experience, contributing to helping people increase their income.
