Accordingly, Cat Tien National Park won in the Biodiversity Conservation category. This is the highest award for the continuous efforts in biodiversity conservation, protecting typical tropical forest ecosystems, home to hundreds of rare species.
The award organizers highly appreciated the way Cat Tien promotes the image of responsible, friendly and nature-respecting ecotourism - a place where visitors not only come to explore , but also to understand and love the value of the forest. The garden was also honored in the category of Ecotourism Promotion.
Next, Cat Tien National Park was honored in the Destination Management category thanks to its sustainable destination management model, with harmonious coordination between management agencies, communities and stakeholders in conservation and ecotourism development.
The 4th award in the community category, to recognize the active participation of the local community, working together to preserve and spread the spirit of living in harmony with nature.
The above four prestigious awards are not only the pride of Cat Tien National Park, but also Vietnam's mark on the international ecotourism map - proof of the commitment to developing tourism associated with nature conservation, for a green and sustainable future.

Cat Tien National Park records 1,729 animals, 1,655 higher plants, of which more than 100 animals and plants are listed in the Vietnam Red Book that need to be preserved. Cat Tien is also known as the "home of animals" with 96 species of animals, 94 species of reptiles, 903 insects. This place also has a very rich flora with 1,655 species of trees.
Cat Tien National Park covers an area of over 82,000 hectares, spanning the two provinces of Dong Nai and Lam Dong. This is one of the largest conservation areas in the country.
With diverse terrain, Cat Tien National Park is a place to preserve and conserve special values of biodiversity, biological gene sources, historical relics, cultural landscapes; scientific research; providing forest environmental services and ecotourism for the whole country.
This place was recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve in 2001 and 2011, and a special national monument in 2012. Notably, from April 20, 2024, Cat Tien National Park was recognized by the International Union for Conservation of Nature in the global "Green List", becoming the first National Park in Vietnam to achieve this title.
Currently, Cat Tien National Park is also coordinating with research agencies, organizations, and units to carry out research projects on forest plants, forest animals, aquatic species, fungi, etc. to build a database on forest resources to serve biodiversity conservation, ecological restoration, species restoration, as a basis for monitoring, evaluating, and supervising forest resources and biodiversity.
