The Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) has just issued a warning about a new form of fraud impersonating the exchange. The notice stated that recently, HNX has received information from many investors about scammers impersonating the exchange to invite them to sign a cooperation contract for a super-profitable investment package.
Accordingly, the subjects used fake seals and cut and pasted signatures of leaders of the Hanoi Stock Exchange to call for super-profitable investments through cooperation contracts and chat rooms on social platforms.
Hanoi Stock Exchange found that this is a new behavior, showing signs of defrauding investors, illegally using the brand identity, image and information of Hanoi Stock Exchange, negatively affecting the reputation and brand of Hanoi Stock Exchange.
Hanoi Stock Exchange affirms that it does not organize any type of cooperation transaction signing and currently, Hanoi Stock Exchange only has one website with the domain name www.hnx.vn, all websites that illegally use the image, brand and information of the Exchange to call for investment are illegal.
The Hanoi Stock Exchange is investigating information and working with authorities to take measures to prevent and minimize damage to investors and the market. The Hanoi Stock Exchange would like to warn investors to be cautious and carefully research information before making investment decisions.
