Water police save woman who jumped off Binh bridge

On August 25, information from Viet Tiep Hospital in Hai Phong said that a female victim who jumped off Binh Bridge after many hours of emergency intervention has overcome the critical stage and is gradually stabilizing her health.

On the afternoon of the same day (August 25), while patrolling and controlling the Cam River, Binh Bridge area in Thuy Nguyen Ward, Hai Phong City, the patrol team of the May Chi Waterway Police Station - Traffic Police Department of Hai Phong City Police discovered a woman suddenly jumping from Binh Bridge into the rushing river.

The patrol team took the victim to the hospital in time for emergency treatment.

Immediately, the patrol team of the May Chi Waterway Police Station deployed a plan to approach and rescue the victim from the dangerous water area. Thanks to the quick and professional actions of the patrol team, the victim was brought to shore safely and transferred to the Viet Tiep Friendship Hospital in Hai Phong for emergency treatment.

Through initial verification, the victim was identified as Ms. Tran Thi X., born in 1986, residing in Le Inh Moc ward, Hai Phong city. Due to boredom in life, Ms. X. could not control her emotions so she tried to jump off a bridge to commit suicide.

Fortunately, thanks to the help of the Waterway Police Patrol Team as well as the timely intervention of the doctors, Ms. X. was saved. The brave actions of the police officers were recognized and highly appreciated by the people.
