The Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VHTTDL) said that at 6:00 p.m. (local time) on October 12, at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, the World Expo Awards Ceremony (BIE Day Awards) took place. The event is part of the Official Participant Awards program (Awards for official participating countries) co-hosted by the World Expo Organization and the EXPO 2025 Organizing Committee. This is also the official and most prestigious award in the EXPO awards system, with a long history originating from the first World Expo held in London in 1851.

The BIE jury consists of 9 members who are the world's leading prestigious experts in the fields of: Culture, society, architecture, urban planning, communication, diplomacy ... The award is selected according to 3 major award categories: Architecture and landscape design, Exhibition design, Theme development of EXPO 2025 ("Designing Future Society for Our Lives"). EXPO 2025 adds the Sustainable Development Award for the first time.
This year, EXPO 2025 with 165 participating countries and international organizations, in the category of Pre-built Exhibition Halls and Small Houses (Type B and Type X), Vietnam has won the Silver Award in the category of "Best Exhibition Design", in the same category, Peru Exhibition Hall received the Gold Award and Cambodia the Bronze Award. Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang, Deputy General Representative of Vietnam at EXPO 2025, represented the Vietnam Exhibition Hall to receive the award.
Vietnam Exhibition House at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan was conceptualized by the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, designed by Mark 'n B for space and graphics, and constructed by Pico International.

With the theme of “Inclusive Society with People at the Center”, the design of the Exhibition Hall follows the spirit of EXPO 2025 “Designing the Future Society for Our Lives”, while honoring the Vietnamese national identity through decorative design, interior, exhibits and modern, creative expressions. The exhibition space is a harmonious combination of advanced technology and traditional cultural values, giving international visitors a vivid experience of a Vietnam that is rich in identity, dynamic, innovative and creative.

The highlight of the Exhibition Hall is the water pavilion and water puppet stage where traditional art performances take place, while in the same space there is also a combination of hologram technology, interactive touch screens and emotional art experiences. The vibrant activities along with the unique, richly designed space with meticulous attention to every detail have conquered tens of thousands of international visitors every day, becoming one of the most impressive and favorite performance spaces at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
Over the past 6 months, the Vietnam Exhibition House has welcomed nearly 1.7 million visitors and millions of visitors to outdoor events and online platforms; organized more than 1,400 traditional musical instrument performances, water puppetry, and more than 20 international music and art exchange programs with Exhibition Houses from the US, Portugal, Thailand, Malaysia, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, etc.
