During their duty in Trinh Tuong commune, Traffic Police Team No. 5, Patrol and Control Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department of Lao Cai Provincial Police, acted bravely and promptly to assist people in crossing a bridge flooded by rising water levels.

Traffic police officers assisted residents in moving their belongings out of the floodwaters.

Accordingly, at 10:30 AM on July 12th, floodwaters from upstream caused the inter-communal road from Trinh Tuong commune to Y Ty commune, specifically the section in Na Lac village, to be submerged. At that time, Vu A Khu, born in 2004, from Ta Co Thang village, Trinh Tuong commune, was driving a motorbike with license plate 24 B2-75031 and attempting to cross the Na Lac bridge when his vehicle was swept away by the floodwaters.

At that moment, traffic police officers from Traffic Police Team No. 5, Patrol and Control Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department of Lao Cai Provincial Police, quickly approached and assisted Mr. Khu to escape the floodwaters and salvage his motorbike and other valuables.
