According to AppleInsider , the Canon EOS R100 camera is aimed at mirrorless camera enthusiasts and those who have previously enjoyed the EOS Rebel or EOS M cameras. The product comes with essential features such as a 24.2 MP APS-C size sensor, DIGIC 8 image processor, and the ability to record Full HD video at 60 frames per second.
The EOS R100 is priced at $480 for the body only.
With an APS-C sensor, the EOS R100 allows users to capture vivid colors, details, and versatility when shooting in low-light environments. Furthermore, the camera's advanced sensor allows users to achieve a bokeh effect to blur the background.
Benefitting from the advanced autofocus system in the EOS R series, the EOS R100 incorporates Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology for precise subject detection. Whether using the electronic viewfinder or LCD screen, the camera intelligently tracks people’s eyes, helping to keep up with the action and focus on the important elements of the scene.
The EOS R100 allows for continuous shooting at speeds of up to 6.5 fps with One-Shot AF and 3.5 fps with Continuous AF, making it easy to capture fleeting moments. The Canon camera is compatible with Canon's complete line of RF and RF-S lenses, and by using one of Canon's three EF-EOS R mount adapters, users can also use EF and EF-S lenses.

Among the available lens options, Canon has introduced the Canon RF28mm F2.8 STM lens, designed in a compact “pancake” style. The product caters to a wide range of users, including amateur photographers as well as enthusiasts using Full-Frame and APS-C cameras.
