Immigration activities through the Soc Giang ( Cao Bang , Vietnam) - Binh Mang (Guangxi, China) border gate pair will be restored from November 28, 2023, after 3 years of suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
After a temporary suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic, immigration activities through the Soc Giang border gate pair in Vietnam's Cao Bang province and Binh Mang border gate in China's Guangxi province were restored from November 28.

The restoration of immigration activities is carried out according to the content signed in the Minutes of Talks between Ha Quang District (Cao Bang, Vietnam) and Na Po District (Guangxi, China) on October 12, 2023.
Opening hours are from 7am to 4:30pm daily. On November 28 alone, nearly 150 people completed immigration procedures through this pair of border gates.
Restoring immigration activities helps facilitate citizens of the two countries to cross the border to visit relatives and conduct business.
Head of Soc Giang Customs Branch (Cao Bang Customs Department) Dinh Ich Cuong said that to ensure smooth entry and exit at the border gate, Soc Giang Customs Branch and relevant agencies have prepared necessary conditions and arranged human resources to carry out procedures in accordance with regulations.
From the beginning of the year to November 29, Soc Giang Border Gate Customs Branch processed 56 export declarations, with a turnover of nearly 10 million USD, the main export goods being cashew nuts.
Regarding imports, there were 34 declarations, with a turnover of over 1.1 million USD, the main goods were raw materials for yeast production and groceries; the budget revenue was over 2.3 billion VND.

Previously, Soc Giang Border Gate was located in Soc Giang village, but later Coc Ngu village was established, between Soc Giang and the border. The border gate is 42 km from Cao Bang city in a straight line to the north-northwest, and about 55 km along provincial road 203. The border gate is close to where the Bang River flows into Vietnam./.
