[Update] - Commending 95 outstanding trade union officials in 2024

On the morning of October 9th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Union (LĐLĐ) organized a program to commend 95 outstanding trade union officials throughout the province in 2024, commemorating the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Thanh Hoa Trade Union (October 10, 1946 - October 10, 2024); and launched the forum "Innovation and Creativity for Economic and Social Development, Building a Civilized and Prosperous Thanh Hoa Homeland" for the period 2024-2030.

In his opening remarks, Comrade Vo Manh Son, Provincial Party Committee member and Chairman of the Provincial Labor Union, emphasized: In recent years, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Union has reformed its content and methods, improved the effectiveness of its activities, and successfully fulfilled its function of participating in state management and socio-economic management. It has proactively advised the Party Committee, and together with the government, the Fatherland Front, agencies, units, and businesses, organized the implementation of policies and regulations related to workers, especially in the areas of wages, social insurance, health insurance, and occupational safety and health, contributing to limiting the occurrence of collective work stoppages and illegal strikes.

Trade union levels have implemented comprehensive and synchronized work in all aspects, with many breakthroughs and innovations in thinking and methods of organizing emulation movements, rising to the group of leading trade union units nationwide; unleashing the creative labor potential of cadres, union members, workers, and employees, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.

The achievements of the workers' movement and trade union activities in Thanh Hoa province over the past period stem from the unity, consensus, innovation, creativity, and determination of workers to overcome difficulties and strive for progress, with the special role played by the trade union officials from the provincial to the grassroots level. This is a decisive force in the renewal of trade union activities, possessing the courage, skills, dedication, responsibility, creativity, and commitment to meet the demands of the reform period.

On behalf of the Provincial Labor Union Executive Committee, Chairman Vo Manh Son called on all cadres, union members, and workers to uphold the glorious 78-year tradition of the Thanh Hoa Labor Union, demonstrating determination, a high sense of responsibility, dynamism, and creativity to overcome all difficulties and challenges, continuing to comprehensively and vigorously innovate activities, building a strong workforce and labor union organization, worthy of being a solid and reliable support for the Party in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the homeland and the country. He urged them to resolutely achieve the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Labor Union, the Resolution of the 20th Congress of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Union, and to welcome the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, taking place in 2025, striving to build Thanh Hoa into a fundamentally modern industrial province by 2030.
