In the 51st minute, Hassarati completed a brilliant performance with the fourth goal, increasing the score to 6-0. In the 59th minute, Reid completed his brace with a close-range tap-in, sealing a 7-0 victory.

Despite taking a comfortable lead, the Australian U17 team didn't slow down, continuing to create dangerous opportunities but failing to score any more goals. Conversely, the Laotian U17 team also had a few notable chances and were awarded a penalty, but Odin Siphanit's shot was too weak, failing to beat the opposing goalkeeper in the 90+1 minute.
