According to Mr. Pham Van Tung, Deputy Head of the Professional and Museum Department of the Oc Eo Cultural Relics Management Board, the Oc Eo Cultural Exhibition House is currently displaying more than 3,350 original artifacts, including four national treasures of the Oc Eo culture: the Linh Son Bac Buddha relief, the Nandin Giong Cat ring, the Linh Son Bac Buddha head, and the Tomb and Mound of Cay Tram.

Each artifact embodies the rich and unique cultural and religious traditions of the ancient Funan people. Most of the exhibits in the exhibition utilize digital technology with QR codes for automatic explanations. "In addition to documents and artifacts explained in Vietnamese, we have also developed content in languages such as English, Japanese, and Korean to serve international visitors who come to explore and learn about the Oc Eo culture," said Mr. Pham Van Tung.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Y, a resident of Chau Phu ward, shared: “Previously, my family and I visited the Oc Eo historical site, and back then we only listened to the tour guide's general introduction about the site and artifacts. But now, with the use of smartphones to scan QR codes, people can proactively visit and learn detailed information about the artifacts.”

According to Ms. Trang Thi My Linh, a tour guide at the Oc Eo Cultural Relics Management Board, many teachers organizing extracurricular activities have shared that digitizing the relics is very useful in teaching and learning. Teachers have more vivid learning materials to provide to students during the teaching process, while students can explore, learn independently, and expand their knowledge in a more authentic way.

To innovate the conservation and promotion of the value of the relics, the Oc Eo Cultural Relic Management Board is actively implementing digital technology. In addition to deploying QR codes for artifacts displayed at the Oc Eo Cultural Exhibition House, the Management Board also applies 3D technology and VR 360 – virtual reality tours… at 7 key relic sites within the Oc Eo - Ba The National Special Relic Area, including: Linh Son Co Tu, Linh Son Nam, Linh Son Bac, Go Sau Thuan, Go Ut Trach, Go Cay Thi, Go Giong Cat… This allows visitors to explore the relics digitally, interact with detailed 3D artifacts, discover the space from all angles (360 ° ), and access multilingual information.

According to Nguyen Xuan Bang, Deputy Director of the Oc Eo Cultural Relics Management Board, the application of technology and digital transformation helps to manage, preserve, and promote heritage effectively, saving costs and enhancing experiential education without requiring on-site visits. The effectiveness of digitalization for the relics helps tourists gain a deeper understanding of the value of the Oc Eo cultural heritage, spreading its value widely to a large number of domestic and international visitors.

In the coming period, the Oc Eo Cultural Relic Management Board will gradually apply information technology to digitize relics and artifacts to serve the management of records, build a database for storage and exploitation according to international standards. At the same time, it will establish a surveillance camera system at key relic sites to serve management and promote the image of the relics; build and upgrade a multimedia and bilingual (Vietnamese - English) integrated electronic information page; and continue to maintain and improve the quality of the unit's Fanpage through various means, ensuring smooth information flow internally and on social media.

The Oc Eo culture, which existed from the 1st to the 7th centuries, was formed from both endogenous and exogenous elements. Endogenous elements are understood as the pre-Oc Eo indigenous cultural foundation, while exogenous elements are understood as economic and cultural influences from outside. The Oc Eo - Ba The archaeological site is of exceptional historical and archaeological value and is currently being considered for World Heritage status.
