Stepping into the garden, we felt as if we had entered a world of colorful succulents. Hundreds of varieties of succulents, from ruby, Lola, emperor, gray rose, brown stone, silver stone, to white crane, white daisy... were skillfully arranged along pine wood fences, planted in substrates to create arched garden structures. The vibrant purple, pink, and turquoise hues stood out against the lush green space, along with the delicately arranged miniature landscapes, creating a gentle and dreamy atmosphere.

The impressive succulent market we see today is the result of a long and diligent journey undertaken by people who dared to think big and act boldly. Driven by a passion for plants, since 2011, Ms. Hoa Thu Trang's family has run a shop specializing in Bat Trang ceramics and feng shui plants. With the support of others, Ms. Trang conceived the idea of cultivating and developing succulents in her hometown. Acting on this idea with a proactive spirit in economic development, her family boldly leased 5,000 square meters of agricultural land to realize their vision of building the Moc Chau succulent market.
Ms. Trang shared: "Initially, when I consulted many experienced gardeners, almost everyone discouraged me, fearing the weather and the complex care techniques. However, captivated by the resilient nature and beauty of this plant, I was determined to try it. In the early days, I had to learn on my own through online groups, instructional videos , and so on. Learning as I went, my love for succulents grew with the size of my garden."

Thanks to the favorable climate, soil conditions, and meticulous care, the succulent garden has flourished, boasting hundreds of different species. With the keen business acumen of someone involved in agricultural economics combined with tourism, Ms. Trang skillfully combines traditional Bat Trang ceramic pots with various succulents to create vibrant and eye-catching miniature landscapes, significantly enhancing the aesthetic and economic value of the products.
Anticipating the trend of experiential tourism, Trang's family proactively invested in and upgraded their garden into an ideal stopover point. Many unique "check-in" spaces were created, most notably a wooden house surrounded by succulents with windows of various shapes. The internal pathways are scientifically designed, interspersed with wooden gazebos for resting and admiring the flowers, combined with convenient coffee and refreshment services.

To promote and introduce the area to tourists from all over, the establishment has intensified the application of digital technology, promoting through social media platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, and Zalo... As a result, the "Moc Chau Lotus Market" brand is increasingly spreading, attracting many tourists. Currently, each potted plant in the garden is priced from 50,000 VND to millions of VND, meeting the diverse needs of tourists.

Present at the garden during her trip to explore Northwest Vietnam, Ms. Nguyen Thi Chung, a tourist from Hai Phong city, excitedly said: "Nature has truly blessed Moc Chau with beautiful scenery and abundant produce. For those of us who are passionate about ornamental plants, the succulent garden in Moc Son ward is a memorable stop on our journey to explore the green plateau."

Every weekend, the unique space of the succulent market bustles with tourists visiting, taking photos, and choosing beautiful little potted plants as souvenirs. The success of this model brings clear economic benefits to businesses, opening up a new direction in diversifying local tourism products and increasing the attractiveness of Moc Chau National Tourist Area.
