Running until May 31st at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, the "Touch" exhibition presents to the public more than 40 paintings and sculptures by a group of artists: Le Anh, Dang Cao Cuong, Nguyen Manh Cuong, Nguyen Can, Dang Hiep, Dang Huu, Khanh Huyen, Vu Muoi, Le Thu, and Vu Thuong. They are a group of students who graduated from the K11 class of the Fine Arts Education major at the Vietnam Fine Arts University.
Artist Nguyen Manh Cuong shared: "There has been a noticeable change since the 'One Generation of Fish' exhibition in 2023. Now, the members of class K11 have gradually defined their individual styles. Each artist clearly expresses their creative perspective and unique visual language in each work displayed at the 'Touch' exhibition."
After years of diligently pursuing various creative paths, they have gradually shaped their personal mark in their artistic endeavors and within the flow of contemporary Vietnamese art.
Artist Le Anh stated that the members of the creative group have found new sources of inspiration, developed their own painting styles, and applied additional techniques to create different effects. Most of the works featured in this exhibition mark new advancements in each individual's artistic practice.

"Every artist undergoes their own transformations. My approach to color, artistic thinking, and perception of the breath of life around me have all changed. For example, I used to paint in a relatively realistic style, but this time I've shifted towards abstraction. This change makes me feel freer," artist Le Anh expressed.
"Touch" is also a connection between the artist and the public. Through visual language, color, and materials, the exhibition opens up opportunities for viewers to access multifaceted emotional perspectives. And art becomes a bridge of sharing and empathy.
Presenting works such as "Chords," "Keys," "Rain Sounds," and "White Violin" at the exhibition, Le Anh's pieces are inspired by the theme of music . "I want to give form to music. When listening to instrumental music, the notes 'bounce' in my mind, bringing about emotions that make me yearn to materialize them into visual language," artist Le Anh explained.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Manh Cuong uses still-life paintings to tell personal stories and interesting life experiences. Using lacquer as his medium, he changes the approach by placing still lifes within a conventional space, blending it with a romantic, realistic atmosphere. The image of the papaya tree recurs in his paintings.
"In the painting 'Invasion,' the story revolves around the papaya – a fruit representing abundance and prosperity in Vietnam. The image of the papaya is placed against a pink background, evoking a feeling of fullness and fulfillment. In contrast, the image of tiny ants diligently searching for a satisfying meal is depicted. Surely, to achieve abundance, these ants need to constantly search, strive, and cooperate," artist Nguyen Manh Cuong analyzed the meaning of the work.
Within the space of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, "Touch" offers art and sculpture enthusiasts an emotionally rich journey, where art connects and touches the soul through every line and color.
