Correcting the quality of temporary rest stops on the North-South expressway

The Vietnam Road Administration has just requested project management boards and investors to improve service quality at rest stops on the Eastern North-South Expressway.

According to the Vietnam Road Administration, some temporary rest stops on the North-South Expressway in the East have encountered many problems during operation.

Specifically, some stations have unreasonable traffic organization, poor service quality, and unsanitary conditions. Some temporary stations have limited space, lack parking, and are prone to congestion during rush hours or holidays.

The Vietnam Road Administration requires project management boards to closely coordinate with investors, operating enterprises, road management areas and the Traffic Police Department to urgently review the current status, supplement necessary items, improve operating conditions and enhance service quality.

In particular, businesses and investors need to arrange forces to guide vehicles to ensure traffic order and safety. Stations need to be fully equipped with sanitary facilities, electricity and water supply systems, ensuring a clean, comfortable and safe environment throughout the construction period of the official station.
