In the dispatch, the Department of Health said that recently, the department has received a lot of information from citizens about many medical examination and treatment facilities advertising on social platforms such as Facebook, Zalo... exceeding the scope of professional activities granted on the medical examination and treatment license or advertising without a medical examination and treatment license. To enhance the effectiveness of state management, prevent false advertising in the field of medical examination and treatment, and create trust for people, the Department of Health requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to provide information on the list of private medical examination and treatment facilities in the province that have been granted operating licenses by the Department of Health (posted on the Khanh Hoa Department of Health Electronic Information Portal at the link: https://syt.khanhhoa.gov.vn/Default.aspx?TopicId=6aa3ea35-49be-4455-92aa-1361b9cd9db6). In particular, pay attention to removing and blocking advertising links of medical examination and treatment facilities with ambiguous advertising content that can easily cause misunderstandings for people and organizations, including: Advertising that does not specifically mention the name of the licensed medical examination and treatment facility; advertising that does not clearly state information related to the medical examination and treatment facility (lack of facility address, lack of contact information); advertising that exceeds the scope of expertise licensed by the Department of Health and exceeds the technical specifications according to the decision approving the technical list of the competent management agency. At the same time, coordinate with the Department of Health to strengthen inspection and supervision of advertising activities of medical examination and treatment facilities in the province; exchange, receive and handle inappropriate advertising information provided by the Department of Health to promptly take measures to manage, prevent and remove inappropriate advertising content...
The Department of Health also requested the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to direct specialized departments and units to proactively review the list of establishments that have registered to do business in the health sector, compare it with the establishments that have been granted operating licenses and publicly posted on the Department of Health's electronic information portal; from there, take measures to rectify establishments that are operating but do not comply with current regulations, especially those that have not been granted licenses to operate medical examination and treatment. In addition, organize regular inspections and supervision, when detecting signs of violations, notify and coordinate with the Department of Health to promptly handle them in accordance with regulations. At the same time, actively propagate so that people know and proactively go to medical examination and treatment establishments that have been granted operating licenses by the Department of Health to examine and treat diseases. When people discover medical examination and treatment facilities violating the above contents, they can report directly to the Citizen Reception Office of the Department of Health (No. 8 Han Thuyen, Nha Trang Ward) or the hotline of the Khanh Hoa Department of Health at phone number 096 539 1515.
