Portrait of new member of the Secretariat Le Minh Tri

Today (August 16), the 13th Party Central Committee met to review and give opinions on personnel work.

The Party Central Committee elected Mr. Le Minh Tri, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy, as a member of the Secretariat.

New member of the Secretariat Le Minh Tri

Mr. Le Minh Tri was born in 1960, in Tan Thong Hoi commune, Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. Tri has a high level of political theory, a bachelor's degree in People's Security, and a bachelor's degree in Law.

Mr. Le Minh Tri is a member of the Party Central Committee, 12th and 13th terms. National Assembly delegate, 14th and 15th terms. Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

Working process of new member of the Secretariat Le Minh Tri:

- October 1981 - October 1986: Student of People's Security University (now People's Security Academy).

- October 1986 - August 1990: Party cell member, Deputy team leader; Party cell secretary, Deputy head of Security Staff Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police

- August 1990 - April 1992: Deputy Head of Department A12b, Ministry of Home Affairs, Secretary of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (now Ministry of Public Security).

- April 1992 - March 2000: Seconded officer with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel of Security, Secretary of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

- 3/2000 - 1/2003: Deputy Chief of Office of People's Council and People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

- January 2003 - August 2005: Deputy Secretary of District Party Committee, Chairman of People's Committee of District 11, Ho Chi Minh City.

- August 2005 - January 2010: Member of City Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of District Party Committee, Chairman of District 1 People's Committee, Ho Chi Minh City.

- January 2010 - April 2013: Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

- April 2013 - December 2015: Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Party Secretary of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

- January 2016 - April 2016: Member of the 12th Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Party Secretary of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

- April 2016 - January 2021: Member of the 12th Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

- January 2021: Member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy; Deputy of the 15th National Assembly.

- 7/2021: Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy for the 2021 - 2026 term.

- On August 16, 2024, in Hanoi, the 13th Party Central Committee elected Mr. Le Minh Tri, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Personnel Committee, and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy, to be an additional member of the Secretariat.
