Sharing with VietNamNet reporter, Quach Thanh Danh - Thanh Ngoc couple started construction in October 2024 and has now basically completed.
His family has moved in, it is expected to take another week to complete the interior.
The house is located in Thanh My Loi ward, Thu Duc city (HCMC), including 1 basement, ground floor and 5 floors. The area is about 100m2, the total usable area is about 600m2.
Ms. Ngoc refused to share the value of the house. However, based on the location, area and construction cost, experts estimate it to be around tens of billions of dong.
Quach Thanh Danh indulged his wife in building a new house in a modern style. Materials such as bricks, stones... were transported from Italy, and all the furniture was also purchased new.
She shared: "The old house was a classic-style garden villa, so we couldn't bring any furniture here. From the beginning, we decided to build a new, comfortable place to live, suitable for a modern lifestyle."
Quach Thanh Danh and his wife built a new house for convenience in going to work.
"In the past, Mr. Danh had many shows in the West so he built a house in Binh Chanh for convenient travel. Currently, most of his shows are in Ho Chi Minh City, each time he has to perform a few dozen kilometers, which is quite inconvenient. Moving here, it only takes me 15 minutes to get to work, saving a lot of time," said Ms. Ngoc.
She added that the distance from the new house to the school of her four children is 17km, the same as the old house, so it does not affect anything. However, the children still prefer to live in the garden villa because it has a large yard and swimming pool.
Currently, Quach Thanh Danh's family lives permanently here, and every weekend they return to the 1,200m2 garden villa in Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh City to relax.
