Children's fundamental rights are prioritized and affirmed in the province's socio -economic development policies and plans. On the occasion of International Children's Day (June 1st) and the 2026 Month of Action for Children, many activities focusing on care, recreation, and equipping children with life skills and digital skills were organized throughout Khanh Hoa province. These programs not only provided beneficial summer activities but also contributed to helping children use technology safely and confidently in the digital environment.

Amidst the ongoing digital transformation in Khanh Hoa, technology is increasingly present in every classroom, every book, and every moment of children's entertainment. This summer, children in the province will be equipped with the necessary skills of a "digital citizen," aiming for all children to be happy, safe, and confident in the digital age.
The Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province and Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union, Huynh Huu Phuc, expressed his hope that summer would become a meaningful time for children, not only for fun and experiences but also as an opportunity to learn and improve themselves. Besides learning to swim to prevent drowning, children are encouraged to learn foreign languages, practice safe technology use skills, and cultivate a spirit of love and sharing with the community.
Mr. Huynh Huu Phuc also called on all levels of the Youth Union, Youth Association, Children's Union, agencies, units, localities, families, and the entire society to continue working together to build a safe and healthy living environment for children; to strengthen education in life skills, digital skills, and to prevent drowning, injuries, violence, and child abuse. Every adult should be a companion, listening, sharing, and protecting children with love and responsibility; being a trusted companion for them in cyberspace; guiding them to use social media safely, to say no to harmful information, and to protect themselves in the digital environment.
On the occasion of International Children's Day on June 1st, many agencies and units in Khanh Hoa province organized programs to celebrate the holiday. At Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital, the children's festival, themed "Happy, Safe, and Steadfast Children in the Digital Age," brought many artistic activities, games, and meaningful gifts to young patients. The children participated in singing and dancing, painting, and games with a clown, including quizzes with prizes, basketball shooting, and more, receiving gifts in a joyful and warm atmosphere. On the morning of June 1st, the hospital's Social Work Department distributed 100 gift packages containing teddy bears, fresh milk, bird's nest, and other necessities to young patients receiving examination and treatment at the Pediatric Department and the vaccination area.
According to Ms. Doan Thi Thuy Loan, Head of the Social Work Department at Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital, the hospital maintains annual activities for children to bring joy and encouragement to young patients, while also spreading the care and sharing of the community towards children in difficult circumstances.
Previously, in the Truong Sa Special Zone, the garrison forces and residents on the islands also organized many activities for children such as cultural performances, painting competitions, folk games, cultural exchanges, and gift giving. This was not only a festival for children but also a vivid testament to the love, sharing, and determination to build Truong Sa into an increasingly strong force at the forefront of the nation's defense. Participating in protecting, caring for, and educating children today contributes to creating a healthy, knowledgeable, confident, compassionate, and resilient generation of young people in Khanh Hoa in the digital age.
