Many unique and captivating art programs
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with improving professionalism in serving tourists, the unit has proactively coordinated with relevant sectors, localities and tourism businesses to strengthen the promotion of tourism products and services and implement promotional programs to stimulate tourism demand.
Cultural, artistic, sports, and recreational activities were organized according to plan, ensuring rich content and diverse forms, contributing to serving the people's spiritual and cultural needs, and creating an atmosphere of excitement and unity in the community.

In particular, three special art programs celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, themed "Proud of My Homeland," were held at three locations: Lam Vien Square (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat), Lam Dong Cultural and Artistic Theatre and Exhibition Center (Phan Thiet Ward), and Lam Dong Sports Training and Competition Center (Nam Gia Nghia Ward).

Lam Dong province also participated in the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements from August 28th to September 5th in Hanoi. It organized a thematic exhibition titled "Echoes of Independence Day" at the Lam Dong Provincial Museum; and an exhibition titled "Ho Chi Minh - Portrait of a Man" at the Duc Thanh Historical Site - Ho Chi Minh Museum in Binh Thuan...
The Lam Dong Provincial Museum, the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Binh Thuan, and the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee's base during the resistance war against the US are open and well-serving to tourists visiting and learning about their history. From August 30th to 10:00 AM on September 2nd, they welcomed over 8,400 visitors.

Xuan Huong Ward in Da Lat will also organize art performances every Friday and Saturday evening from the beginning of August to the beginning of September 2025 at the 3/4 Theater, Hoa Binh Area, and Lam Vien Square.
Companies with performing arts activities in the province will continue to regularly organize performing arts events for the public and tourists at their business establishments during the National Day holiday.

Ensuring security and safety for tourists.
According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, this year's National Day holiday on September 2nd lasted for four consecutive days, creating favorable conditions for organizing short trips. The estimated total number of tourists visiting and staying in the province during the holiday (from August 30th to September 2nd) was approximately 590,000, an increase of about 6.8% compared to the same period in 2024, including an estimated 10,500 international tourists. Estimated revenue was approximately 715 billion VND.
The number of guests staying at accommodation establishments in the province was concentrated on August 30th - September 1st. The average room occupancy rate reached approximately 60-70%; the occupancy rate for 3-5 star hotels reached approximately 75-85%.
To achieve these results, the preparation work was meticulously and thoughtfully planned by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and other relevant units. Several tourism service businesses and tourist destinations organized promotional programs, discounts, and enhanced services to attract tourists during the September 2nd holiday.

According to the assessment of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the participating forces performed well in ensuring security and safety for tourists; publicly displaying prices, selling at the listed prices, preventing price gouging, harassment, and fraud in business operations, ensuring service quality commensurate with product prices; and effectively implementing the Code of Conduct for Civilized Tourism…
To meet the sightseeing needs of tourists during the holiday season, tourism service businesses have actively renovated the landscape and environment, improved service quality to serve tourists; added more entertainment services, products and services operating at night; and ensured a sufficient number of tour guides at each location to guide tourists.

At the same time, proactive measures will be taken to coordinate with relevant agencies, local authorities, and travel businesses to ensure absolute security and safety for tourists, and to strengthen the implementation of cooperation programs connecting tours with domestic travel agencies to bring tourists to Lam Dong.
Authorities have not recorded any fire or explosion incidents, and have prevented pickpocketing and robbery within tourist areas and attractions. Tourist areas and attractions have fully installed regulations, signposts, and danger warnings in necessary areas and have taken appropriate measures to inform tourists and ensure compliance; they regularly deploy security and rescue forces and equipment in necessary areas to assist tourists, especially those with passenger water transport, swimming pools, and beaches.
